Some older models, specifically the non-stereo versions, may only have one set of ports.

You no longer have to choose what items you wish to plug in at one time. This is a huge advantage over the older models of boob tubes which may have forced you to only use one or two electronics at one time.
A plasma television 42 inch and larger will be about the same price as the same LCD flat screen in the same size. If you are looking at lower prices on a big screen television, then you do not need to waste your money. Big screen TV’s are outdated and the picture is not great, not to mention they take up a huge amount of room. Spend a little bit more for the LCD or plasma television. You will be happier in the long run.
